Louie is a “blank canvas”- so much potential for an experienced Airedale family.  Everything is new to Louie – dandelions, birds, blowing leaves, toys, manners..., so he needs a strong, kind, positive patient person to teach and lead him with the love he deserves.  At approximately one year of age, Louie has the boisterous strength and enthusiasm of a “puppy”.  In the short time that Louie has been with us at ATRA, he is already showing improvement in his initial greeting as he is learning that jumping and mouthing our friends' hands is not good manners.  Louie is a very smart adolescent young man who is familiar with sit, down and paw & should be a quick learner.  He shows intense focus when discovering new things and he loves attention. He goes for daily walks and enjoys them especially if he sees people.  He feels everyone loves him and wants to pet him. He readily enters his crate and keeps it clean.

Not much is known about Louie’s past. He was picked up as a stray in Tennessee, in the company of a younger female Airedale.  Louie has shown to be ok around dogs who are submissive and calm. Currently handsome Louie weighs approximately 56 pounds and has an additional attribute-a beautiful English tail! He has been vet checked, vaccinated and neutered.  Freshly groomed Louie is waiting for his loving leader!
