Bear is a 4 year old, 65 pound, recently neutered, male. Bear was surrendered for being too wild with his previous family, except with the dad. Bear is currently with a foster family in Ohio.

Bear is bear-y sweet and loves his humans, knows his basic commands (for the most part), and loves to play tug of war! We suspect he hasn’t had formal training as he enjoys counter surfing and is very successful at grabbing anything and everything!

He has the typical Airedale energy for his age, even more so since he was just neutered when he arrived with ATRA. Foster mom and dad are working on leash control and some excessive barking and pulling towards other dogs when they are out on their walks! At this point, we are unsure how he would do with other dogs in the home! He is also getting practice with grooming and is doing quite well!

He is a super chewer and would benefit from antlers as a chew toy! He has gotten through a few toys that were supposed to be indestructible!!
