Chance is a 60 pound three-year-old neutered male Airedale who may be smaller in size, but his heart and his strength are anything but small.

Chance spent the first three years of his life living outside, surviving on his own and learning that he had to take care of himself. After spending four weeks at a board and train, Chance has developed basic stills but needs continued guidance. Now, he deserves to learn what it feels like to be safe, loved, and simply be a dog. Chance is very affectionate to his foster dad and loves attention.

Chance has a strong prey drive and is reactive to other animals, including dogs. He is a very strong boy, so he needs a physically strong, experienced handler who can confidently manage him on walks. He must be the only dog in the home.

Chance requires an Airedale-experienced person who understands that beneath his tough exterior is a boy who is still learning how to trust. He needs structure, patience, consistency, and lots and lots of love.
