Hi!! My name is Kamea (Ca-may-uh), and just like my name I am a king. I just turned 4 right as I was surrendered because my dad died. Life is pretty is scary for me and my sister, Leilani. And although we both have royal names, we are willing to settle with peasants who will love us totally. My neuter, shots and pedicure were done right after I got surrendered, and although I was terrified by everything, I did really good with vets, they were impressed! (Well of course, I’m royalty!) I only weigh 50 pounds and if I say so myself, I look like a stud!

Everything is so different and new to me, but I’m learning how to trust and be happy with people. Other dogs make me bark a little, but I’m doing better. Leashes are just fun things to trip my foster mom with, but she says I’m learning. I LOOOOVE cookies and I am doing really good now on making sure I grab the treat, not the fingers. (Foster mom yelps just like my sister! Such girls!) I’m even learning how to sit, it’s hard, but again, I’m doing better and learning fast!

With all the new stuff, I do really well with car rides! I travel like a champ, piece of cake for long or short rides. When my sister went to vet without me, I was a good boy and stayed alone okay, it was kind of nice.

Foster mom lives on a ranch so I’m seeing lots of new things, horses, goats, burros, dog and CATS! I’m not sure what they are, but I do bark at them. Also at night, bunnies and deer do walk by the kennel. I like water, I might even like swimming, but haven’t had a chance yet, but our wading pool is fun to splash in.

I would really like to find someone who can love me, show me the world, and give me a chance to experience life. It would be nice if my sister could come, but I think we would learn to be okay apart. Please come get me soon so I can really start my new life!
