Annie
Annie lost her first home due to 8 foster children, husband getting a German Shepherd, and no time for Annie. Then an older woman adopted Annie to keep her 2-1/2 year old male Airedale company, but sadly has found two youngsters are too much for her. So the poor girl has lost two homes in 17 months through no fault of her own.
Annie is a tall and lanky girl (about 26” at the shoulders) that has the rambunctious, high energy of young Airedale. She absolutely loves to run around her yard, BUT she will definitely need a fence that is a minimum of 4’ high. Annie can jump a 3’ fence from a standstill like a deer.
She has received her Canine Good Citizen Certificate (including two obedience classes and passing a test) and has started scent work training classes. She will need to be reminded of her manners though, as she still wants to jump on people. She is spayed and up-to-date on shots. She is potty trained, crate trained, rides well in the car, and walks well on the leash. She is not a picky eater. She would probably take off if the door was opened and she was not contained. She really loves people, enjoys other dogs, and loves kids. She is pretty much through her chewing phase, although Mom says she has occasionally grabbed a shoe if possible.
Annie is hoping for a forever family of her own who appreciates a sweet, energetic, loving young lady. If you are an approved home, please contact me for more information about this lovely girl.
