Hi!! I’m Lelani, a Hawaiian queen, just like my brother Kamea was king. My daddy died and the whole world is new to me know. I’m more outgoing than my brother, but everything is scary. I was scared when my brother went to the vet and I was left alone, but I’m doing better. I’m about 55 pounds and I am adorable, in spite of what my brother says.

I haven’t been around anything, so I’m learning quick. After all, I just turned 4! I’ve seen horses, goats, burros, cats, deer, and bunnies! They’re fun to watch, and I do bark at them every now and then. Learning to quit wiggling and sit has been harder, but I’m getting the hang of it!

I like riding in cars and sit quietly. Leashes are absolutely new to me, kind of a fun thing to wrap around legs! I have gotten the hang of taking treats and leaving fingers, even though they look the same! My feet were a little tender because I wasn’t used to gravel and concrete but I’m tough now!

I was a really good girl at the vet and got all of my shots and a pedicure, and I acted like the queen I am! Of course they loved me and said I did really good, even when they took me away from my foster mom. I’d really like to find someone who has lots of time to spend with me and show me the world. It’d be nice if my brother could come too, but I think if someone really loved me, I could forget about him.
