MACY is a healthy, mature six year-old Airedale who weighs 64lbs. She came to ATRA because her person has serious health issues and can be assured that Macy is taken care of for the rest of her life. Macy previously lived with a smaller Pitbull mix, in a multigenerational household with three year-old twins. She is fine with adults and respectful, dog-aware children. She is a "talker", so she announces people or pets walking past her yard. On leash walks she ignores any cats that she encounters. Macy knows commands and has had obedience training. The trainer who evaluated her on intake says that she has beautiful manners and needs no additional training. She has a small "hunter's stub" tail and very expressive ears. She also lived on a large working farm before moving to a suburban home in the city two years ago.
