Ralph is 8 years old and recently came into a shelter with two other dogs.  The shelter received the three dogs because people purchased their new home and the previous owners left the three dogs behind outside.  Paperwork was found in the house which included vaccination records and AKC records.  

Ralph is now enjoying his daily walks with his foster Mom and generally just being a dog who is loved.  He was not well cared for as he has fly bite scars on his face and ears. Unfortunately those scars will never disappear. He is being treated for an ear infection as well. He is a dream to groom and is wonderful at the vet. He recently had the removal of a polyp and it was a successful surgery.  He is healing nicely and is truly enjoying life now.  Due to his health he will need to remain on a prescription diet due to his low protein. But he enjoys melon, apples, cauliflower and beans as well as cheese.  But he turns up his nose at carrots.
