Meet Rowdy, a large young gentleman that right now lives up to his name. He was surrendered by a family that could not walk or exercise him and he spent 6-8 hours in a crate per day. He is a tall, lean boy (not heavy at all) and handsome too. He loves physical contact with his human and he loves his toys too. He is used to a fenced yard, is crate-trained, housebroken, and enjoys playing with other big dogs. He likes to go for walks and will not bolt at an opened door. He does have a loud bark that he uses on strangers coming to the door.
Rowdy likes to be groomed, except for having his feet handled and nails clipped. He rides well in the car and likes to be as close as possible.
Rowdy would be great with older children. Due to his size and energy level, he would probably be too much for the younger tikes. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but could also do fine as an only dog as long as he gets proper exercise.
Rowdy is a very lovable guy that needs his training continued. He is at a very nice boarding/training facility, in a large suite, but with the noise and activity of a kennel he is getting a little stressed out. We would love to get Rowdy into a foster home, if not an adoptive home, right now.
If you are an approved home and would like to get more information about Rowdy, please contact me.
