Sam is a 50 pound, 12 year old, neutered male. Sam first came into ATRA after living in a crate for the first 4 years of his life. He has been living with his current family for the last 8 years. His current owner has started a new job which entails more travel than is fair to Sam. He loves to go on long walks, but is fairly mellow the rest of the time. He doesn’t mind other dogs on walks, at the groomer, at the dog park, or when visiting houses with other dogs. He has never lived with another dog or cat. He has never lived with young kids, but he probably would be fine around respectful older kids.
